Buyers who can no longer afford easterly neighbours Grey Lynn and Point Chevalier are now in evidence at Avondale auctions, especially for restored villas in Avondale Heights.

There are no agency offices in Avondale itself, but the area is strongly represented by B&T and Ray White in Blockhouse Bay and New Lynn. LJ Hooker in Blockhouse Bay is also well rated.
